Todo.Everything.全部

(Real day of post: 4日5月2013年, a las 23:53:28)

The get the guy event was AMAZEBALZZ (as some of my friends say). Got my book signed, and a photo (though I wished it was a better taken one though), and wrote down some really good stuff. Of course he talked more in detail about the 'attraction formula' which you can see here. (actually that is something that i found out before the event, and it does make a lot of sense.) You can also see some really cool stuff here, and here.

Anyway, back to what I was going to say: one good advice that he gave that i REALLY REALLY like was this:

Invest in a guy based on how much he invests in you, not on how much you like him.

And it totally made sense! There were also times when he adviced, "think like a politician" for certain circumstances, which of course also made sense. The event ended up finishing 1 hour later than intended, so it was already really late for me to put on my workout clothes and take a bike ride once i was home, and i didn't want to go to the theaters alone :P. that's kinda weird. . . but i was glad that he was kind to stay with us for that long. ^___^

I think there were plenty of us that felt like school girls at some point because we all kinda have this mini crush on him. XD You can't blame us for that.
I also met a new acquaintance through this event. My goal since this past 2 weeks has been to attend at least 1 social event per week and AT LEAST meet 1 new person per week. That also comes with staying in contact with the people i have already met, and seeing if we can hang out at events to meet even more new people. yea!
I know i asked some people to come and join me for 6flags, and realized that it may be expensive to fly over here or drive or whatever, but think of it this way,

Money, you will get back. Time, you wont.

After the event, i took my time walking back to the train station. It was a nice day (for chicago): as in it wasn't snowing, the wind wasn't so strong that it could blow me (yes the wind can do that to me), still cloudy but for once i felt like strolling. it's still cold (for me), but much better than before. At the station, saw a few Amish people. Mostly men, and like. . . . . 3 women (of course attended by a man). I wonder what they are thinking.

That will be another goal of mine. If I see a group of amish women or mennonite women just staring at the river that, i'll just come up to them and ask a question! Before i was always curious as to why this why that, so i'm gonna just do it! No more "ooo, i'm too shy to come up to them and ask". I'm changing.

    Back to the seminar:
another good point that i wished i had known how to say this earlier was the question of "what do you want in a guy?". He gave us 30 seconds to write down our answer, but i didn't write down anything because it would be impossible to pin-point what i want. So i just wrote down this:

everything.

Face it, if you just write down "nice, funny, intelligent, talkative", you're still going to be bored because you want more than just that. We all want everything! This is why i made my list based on physical stuff, cuz that stuff is easy to pin-point out and i know that what i expect from those physical things are pretty basic. Once I told Joaquinito that i would like a guy that is taller than me, but that's been a long time. I said it because at the time, I didn't know what specifically i wanted, so i said something ridiculous.

If you ask me that now, I'm not gonna say that. I don't care if he's shorter, same height or taller. I just want everything. If i'm going to be with someone and be in love with someone, they have to adore me and worship the ground i walk on in the same way i will do for them. And that's all for today. ^^ Night night.

GetTheGuy America Tour Event

It's such a nice day outside. Im across the street where the event is suppose to be in. I'm so excited! Should get some good notes out of it yea?! I brought my copy to see if it would be possible to get a signature. I will take pictures too. ^_^

If they dont have good food at the venue, i'll just go to cafecito afterwards. I have to get my hot coco!

Maybe you would ask, 'why are you getting a hot coco if it's not cold outside'. And to that i reply: 'well, does it need to be cold for a person to drink their daily morning café?'. I am challanging you to think cuz thats what a high-quality woman does. :P And cuz it's fun.

Later today will listen to book audio for political science class during bike ride. Need to get some practice for the 25mile bike run that's coming up. So i'm doing homework and exercising at the same time. ^^

Hope your day is also wonderful! (=´∀`)人(´∀`=)

I forgot to mention. My shelf that I have on the wall of my room fell. . . again. But luckily this time i was not under it when it fell. So it just adds to another thing that I have to do. I plan not to put up the shelf again, because it already did some damage to the wall and i don't want it to fall again.

So the stuff I had there will have to go to my closet. . .I'm not sure how yet since my closet is so small, but i'll figure out a way to make it fit on the top shelf. It was mostly paperwork anyways. Nothing that big.

In other news, getting ready for gettheguy event tomorrow with Matthew Hussey! Hopefully we will have a lunch break or something, cuz i can't even sit on my ass in a classroom for 3 hours straight. I have to admit i am a little sad but hopefully i will find something within the few hours to cheer myself up. Let's see if come back home with some good notes from the event. My pen is ready.

Ok, let's listen to an awesome song by the incredibly hot Alex Chu. :P Yes. That was a licking face.

誕生日おめでとう^_−☆

(Real day of post: 3日5月2013年, a las 11:16)

Happy birthday to my one and only. Without even knowing, your love and cheerfulness fills everyones hearts. Your smile and happy attitude makes everyone be around you that much more.

I know you hide behind your smiles sometimes, and it's ok to be upset. Sometimes i know you don't talk about your sorrows but it's ok to let them out.

I have learned bottling your emotions will only turn into an explosion later and most likely you already know this but sometimes hearing from someone else helps. :)

Knowing you, there is nothing that holds you back from your aspirations. Keep going!

I hope your day will be exciting, and you crash in bed at the end of the day. That is definitely one of the best feelings yea! :D Feliz cumpleaños J.

Topic 3: "An interesting thing that I found at the place (i stayed during a trip)"
When you went on a trip, what interesting thing that isn't in your town/country did you discover and were surprised about during your experience? For example, there isn't vending machines that sell cigarettes and beer in U.S, so americans that see that in Japan are surprised. Talk about that type of thing that you found interesting in your travel destination. Also talk about why that country would have that sort of thing and mention your own opinion about it.

Here is what I wrote for my assignment:

Basically I'm just talking about how in Japan there are no public trash cans (there are some but they are extremely rare), so you have to carry your own trash with you throughout the day and then throw it out once you get back home, so it makes you more aware about trash and recycling. And even the trash system over there is very detailed.
